Contract: once we have sent written confirmation of your holiday, a contract exists between yourselves and us, being the owners of Stonecroft. We rent you a fully furnished cottage, subject to the following conditions:
Size of party is not to exceed the maximum of four.
Fuel: electricity, gas and fuel for the open fire are included in the rent. We do not provide matches.
Full Linen: is included in the rent, i.e. bed linen, personal towels, bath mats & tea towels.
Children: although we accept children in our property we are unable to provide cots and highchairs.
Pets: we are happy to let up to a maximum of two dogs into the cottage. Please do not leave them alone in the cottage or allow them onto the beds or any furniture. Please clean up after your dogs in the garden and in the village of Wrelton.
Arrival and departure: Stonecroft will be ready for you by 2pm on the day of your arrival. On your departure day the cottage is to be left clean, in the same state as you found it. You are asked to vacate the property by 10am to enable the cottage to be prepared for the next guests.
Payment: A deposit of £ 100 per week is required when making a booking. The balance is due six weeks before the holiday. If booking at the last minute we require a payment direct into our bank account. Bank details will be provided at time of booking. We cannot take credit cards.
Cancellation: deposits are not returnable. The balance will be returned only if the holiday is re-let. We do not offer cancellation insurance, but strongly advise you to arrange your own.
Default: should the cottage become for any reason unfit or unavailable for your visit, we undertake to refund pro rata for the days lost.
Damages and breakages: to be reported as soon as possible, and replacements paid for. We accept no liability for the holidaymaker’s personal property.
Car parking: There is one off street parking space. However should you travelling in two cars or have visitors we would ask that the extra car is parked on the road rather than the drive way as our deeds only allow us right of way to the one parking space outside our kitchen window.
